14. OPERATION IN EMERGENCIES OR FOR MAINTENANCE OR CLEANING

If the window has to be opened by hand due to an electrical power failure or a mechanism malfunction, or for routine window maintenance
and external cleaning, the patented chain coupling can be released quickly. To release the coupling, proceed as follows:
1. Release the tab of the quick coupling which fixes the end of the chain to the bracket.
2. Hold the window in place with one hand and with the other slip the chain end pin out of the two U-shaped
slots in the bracket. (This should be done with the window open by at least 10 cm; disconnecting the
chain will be easier).
3. Open the window by hand.

16. CERTIFICATE OF GUARANTEE

The manufacture guarantees that the device will function correctly. It undertakes to replace parts which are defective due to poor

The guarantee covers products or individual parts for 2 years from the date of purchase. The guarantee is valid provided the
purchaser possesses proof of purchase and has complied with all agreed conditions of payment.
Under the manufacturer's guarantee of proper operation, the latter undertakes to repair or replace any parts that fail while under
warranty free of charge and in the shortest possible time. The purchaser is not entitled to any reimbursement for any direct or
