GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS

In order to protect your baby adequately and to ensure their comfort and stability in the car, the following instructions
must be strictly followed:
This seat is only suitable for cars fitted with the ISOFIX anchoring
system, approved under Regulation ECE-14 or otherequivalent
standards.
Your GRAND safety seat can be installed on the front or back seat of
your vehicle. Although, we advise you to install it on the back seat.
Not all safety systems are exactly the same, therefore we advise you
to check your GRAND in the car in which it is going to be fitted.
It is very important not to use second-hand products, as JANÉ can
only guarantee complete safety with items used by their first buyer.
JANÉ recommends that you replace your GRAND safety seat with
a new one if it has been subjected to violent stress in an accident.

Check that all the seat straps are in the correct position and duly
adjusted to your GRAND. Make sure that none of the straps are twis-
ted. The child must understand that he must not play with the straps
or fasteners under any circumstances.
Do not install the safety seat on sideways seats in the vehicle or rear
facing seats, this is very dangerous.
