Removing the safety seat when it has been installed with ISOfix:
• Loosen the Top tether by pressing the button on the tightening strap.
• Unfasten the hook from the ring of your vehicle.
• Loose the tension of the ISOfix anchors by turning the handle (9).
• Release the ISOfix anchors by pressing both unlocking buttons (7).
The signals on the side (8) will turn red.
• Remove the safety seat. You can store the ISOfix anchors inside the base by
turning the handle (9).
6.2 Installation for children weighing
15 to 36Kg with the vehicle seat belt
Turning the safety seat into a booster seat with backrest.
VERY IMPORTANT: When you are going to use the GRAND safety seat as a
booster seat with backrest, the child must be secured with the vehicle 3-point
seat belt, therefore, the integrated straps are not used anymore and should
be concealed. If the integrated straps are not concealed, it is not possible to
adjust the height of the headrest.
Concealing the integrated straps:
• Check that the strap adjustment (4) is in the highest position.
• Take the upholstery off the seat by the front part until the buckle compartment
is uncovered. Open the lid by pulling it downwards. Pass the buckle through the
slot in the upholstery, place it inside the compartment and close it.

• The shoulder straps should be slid behind the headrest overhang. To prevent
misuse of the safety seat, cannot be moved upwards without first completing
this step. Take the pad off the shoulder straps first.
• Pass both straps with their pads behind the headrest overhang.
• The top part of the buckle can be concealed inside the gaps in the inner
sides of the seat.

Installing the booster seat with backrest without ISOfix anchors.
If you decide to install the GRAND booster seat with backrest without using
the ISOfix anchors, simply place it on the vehicle seat bearing the mind the
warning below:
WARNING: When the booster seat is not in use, don't forget to secure it
with the vehicle 3-point seat belt. If you need to brake sharply, or in the
event of an accident, an unsecured booster seat can get flung off the seat
and can injure other people in the car.
Placing the child in the seat.
• Place the child on the booster seat, pass the vehicle shoulder belt through
the belt guide on the side of the headrest (11).

• Pass the seat belt over the child and fasten the buckle.
• Lastly, pass the belt under both armrests (10).
