6.1 Installation for children weighing 9
to 18 Kg, with the integrated straps
Installation in the vehicle.
The GRAND safety seat should be installed in the FORWARD FACING
POSITION, preferably on the rear seat of the vehicle. Before installing the seat
with the ISOFIX anchors, make sure that the selected vehicle seat is fitted with
the 3 anchors (2 ISOfix + top tether ring).
WARNING: THE FORWARD FACING POSITION IS STRONGLY ADVISED
AGAINST FOR BABIES WEIGHING LESS THAN 9KG.
Installing with ISOFIX anchors + Top tether.
Installing the safety seat in the vehicle.
• Extract the ISOfix anchors (6) by turning the handle (9) on the front of
the base.

• Guide both anchors towards the Isofix connectors of your vehicle and press
until both sides are locked, two green signals on the sides of the base (8) will
show that both sides are correctly anchored. If one or both of the signals are
red, repeat this step.

• Turn the handle (9) clockwise to fit the safety seat firmly against the backrest
of the vehicle seat.

• Lengthen the Top Tether strap (14) to fit the ring in the vehicle and hook
it on.

• Tighten the strap by pulling the end until a green signal appears on the top
tether tightening strap.

Placing the child in the safety seat.
• Loosen the integrated belts by pulling the straps (
pressing the tightening button (
).

• Unfasten the buckle (
). To make it easier to place the child in the seat, you

can pass the belts under the armrests.
• Place the child in the seat making sure they sitting well back and that their
back is straight. Join the top ends of the buckles.
• Insert them into the central lock and press until you hear them click.
• Pull the tightening strap (

Adjusting the integrated straps.
The height of the shoulder straps should be adjusted as the child grows.
With the child sitting correctly in the safety seat check the shoulder straps
are at the right height. They should be just above the child's shoulders.
In this set-up GRAND has 4 shoulder strap positions, when adjusting the
height the headrest will move.
To change the height follow the steps below:
• Pull the lever found on the back of the backrest (4), this will unlock the
position of the headrest.

• Slide the headrest (3) to the correct position for the child and release the
lever. Move the headrest until you hear it click when locked into place. Pull
the headrest to make sure it is secure.
