cold water connection

Always flush a newly connected water pipeline
system before use. Attach the inlet combination
to the cold water connection. This is marked in
blue or with an arrow which points to the
connection nipple. The arrow on the inlet
combination must point to the boiler. The hot
water pipeline of the tap is connected directly
to the hot water pipeline of the boiler.
The drainage pipeline must have a water lock
and an aeration opening. This is to prevent
odours in the kitchen cabinet and drainage
water from being syphoned back into the boiler.
About 1-2 litres of expansion water could be
formed per day.

hot water connection

Attach the hot water pipe of, for example, a
central heating boiler directly to the cold water
connection of the boiler. If a release valve has
been fitted in the hot water pipe of the central
heating boiler, the inlet combination on the
boiler is not required. This connection has a
number of advantages:
– it allows fast and unlimited tapping of hot
water;
– it saves energy.
a. inlet combination, consisting of:
– stopcock
– non-return valve
– control screw of non-return valve
– release valve

attention
If the boiler is supplied from another hot water
appliance, connection in accordance with the
LP system is not possible.
features of LP system
– Special LP tap required.
– No release valve/inlet combination.
– No pressure on the boiler.
– The expansion water is drained via the tap
outlet. Never try to prevent this!
attention
It is possible that local regulations will require
you to fit a release valve.
1. cold water supply pipe
2. tap inlet
3. tap outlet
4. boiler inlet (blue)
5. boiler outlet (red)
There is never water pressure on the boiler if
the boiler has an LP connection. The boiler has
an open connection to the tap outlet. As soon
as you open the hot water tap (a), cold water
will flow into the boiler and expel the hot water.
A special LP mixer tap is needed, because the
boiler has to have an open connection to the
tap outlet.
The expansion water which is formed during
heating leaves the system via the tap outlet. So
the outlet must never be sealed off. No inlet
combination is required for a pressure-free
connection.
