USB/Memory Card Operation

The CD tuner is equipped with a USB interface and a memory card reader for SD/MMC cards.
MP3 files stored on these media cannot be played.

Due to the great variety of systems with USB and SD/MMC card interfaces and their different functions
that are sometimes producer-specific, we cannot guarantee that all media will be recognized and that
all the operational functions are available in this CD tuner.
The USB interface is only suited for USB memory sticks, not for the USB ports of MP3 players.
Before disconnecting a USB memory stick or SD/MMC card, switch the playback source with the button
/MOD (6), to avoid malfunction or memory loss.
If a USB memory stick or SD/MMC card is not recognised upon connection, remove the storage medium
and plug it in again.
The media must be formatted in FAT12, FAT 16 or FAT 32.
• Connect your USB memory stick to the USB port (24).
• When using a memory card, push it into the SD/MMC card slot (25).
• The player switches to the respective input automatically and starts playback.
• Operation is identical with operation for CD-MP3 playback.

Remote Control Functions

Nearly all functions of the device may also be controlled with the included remote control. Additionally, operation of
the Bluetooth hands-free system is possible comfortably and securely from the steering wheel.
The buttons with the same designation as on the device have the same function as well.
The functions of the volume controller/selection controller (2), however, are split into two separate operating
elements:
• The buttons on the reverse of the remote control assume the functions as for turning the volume controller/
selection controller (2).
• The button / BND / ENT (30) assumes the function as for pushing of the volume controller/selection
controller (2).
