Menu Settings

Volume controller/selection controller (2)
In standard operation, the volume is controlled with the volume controller/selection controller (2).
Push the controller briefly once or repeatedly to change the following parameters by turning the controller:
VOL Volume settings
BAS Bass control
TRE Treble control
BAL Balance settings (volume distribution right/left)
FAD Fader settings (volume distribution front/rear)
LOUD Loudness sound correction
LOUD ON
LOUD OFF

The human ear perceives low tones at low volumes less well. An increase of this frequency range for
low volume (loudness correction) counteracts this effect and the music playback sounds more natural.
DSP Digital signal processor
DSP OFF
POP
ROCK
CLASSIC
FLAT

With the DSP switched on, no sound control is possible with the bass/treble controllers.
To select other functions, push the volume controller/selection controller (2) a little longer (>2 seconds) and then push
it again briefly until the desired function appears on the display.
Choose the options for the respective settings by turning the volume controller/selection controller (2) or by pushing
the volume buttons (2) at the remote control.
The loudness function is active.
The loudness function is inactive. The sound is not influenced.
The digital signal processor is switched off.
The sound characteristic is adapted to pop music.
The sound characteristic is adapted to rock music.
The sound characteristic is adapted to classical music.
DSP is active, but there is no sound adaptation.
