▷ For fully anatomical restorations, polish using commercially availa-
ble polishing aids (rubber polishers, brushes, NEM polishing paste).
Post-processing/preparation for the veneering
▷ Thoroughly blast off the frame with a fine-blasting unit using pure
110 – 250 μm aluminium oxide at a pressure of 3 - 4 bar.
▷ If required, rework the frame using a cross-toothed carbide cutter.
▷ Thoroughly blast off the frame with a fine-blasting unit using pure
110 – 250 μm aluminium oxide at a pressure of 3 - 4 bar.
▷ Grasp the frame with artery forceps; do not touch with fin-
gers.
▷ Steam off frame.
▷ Oxidation firing is not necessary. Should an optical check neverthe-
less be desired, perform oxidation firing at 980 °C with 1 minute
dwell time. Afterwards, thoroughly blast off one more time.
Finish
▷ Gloss up metal edges using silicone polish. Prevent heat generation.

Laser welding

▷ Prepare connecting location in the form of a modified X seam.
▷ Blast off and clean the spot to be laser welded (using 110 - 250 μm
pure aluminium oxide).
▷ Use CoCr laser welding wire (721130 ff).
After laser welding the Ceramill Sintron, the workpiece can be
ceramic veneered.
