Contact grill
For safety reason always unplug.
Remove the grilled food with a wooden spatula or other suitable, non-metallic, heat resistant
kitchen utensil.
Let the appliance cool down completely before cleaning.
As in contact with food, after each use clean the grill plates and the unit as described in
chapter "Cleaning and care" below.

Cleaning, maintenance and storing

Caution danger of electric shock and risk of burning! Always unplug your appliance
after use and before cleaning and allow it to cool down before storage.
Never immerse the appliance in water or clean it under running water.
How to remove the plates for cleaning:
The appliance must be unfolded completely to remove the grill plates. each ghrill plate is
fixed by a retaining clip. Push the retaining clip down with your finger and hold to release
(fig. 1). Lift the grill plate wth the other hand slightly upward to release it from the guidance
on each side, then pull forward to remove (fig. 2)

Wipe the inside and edges of the plate with absorbing paper towelling or a soft cloth.
Wipe the housing only with a slightly moistened cloth.
Never use hard or sharp objects on the non-stick baking surface. The surface can be
damaged easily by scratching.
Store the unit in a dry place where it is unapproachable for children.

Disposal

Please observe the environment!
Dispose the packaging according to the local garbage regulations.
Dispose paper and carton separately from plastic bags into the corresponding
containers. If at any time in the future you should need to dispose of this
product please note that waste electrical products should not be disposed of
with household waste. The symbol (crossed dustbin) on the product, the
package or in the instructions for use indicates this. Please recycle where
facility exists. Check with your local authority or retailer for recycling advice.
Dispose the appliance at the end of its lifespan according to environmental considerations.
