Cleaning and Storage

CAUTION!
Danger of burns! The housing, all accessories and the charcoal in the fuel container
may also still be hot after the device is switched off. Wait until the device and the
charcoal have fully cooled down!
Under no circumstances should you use any corrosive or abrasive cleaning agents,
rough sponges or knives to clean the device. These could damage the surfaces.
1. Take the device apart (see the "Assembly" chapter).
2. Clean the housing (6) with a soft cloth and a little mild detergent.
3. Clean the grill rack (1) and the drip tray (5) with a little detergent under warm running
water.
4. Just tap out the tray for fuel paste (4) and the fuel container (3) as well as the lid for
the fuel container (2) and clean with a brush or a dry cloth if necessary.
Over time the heat can cause discolouration to form on the fuel container (3), the
lid for the fuel container (2) and the tray for fuel paste (4). However, this does not
restrict the performance of the device.
5. Thoroughly dry the device and the accessories before everything is reassembled and
stored away.
6. Store the device in a dry place that is protected from sunlight and is not accessible
to children and animals.
