MAINTENANCE
STORAGE
• Drain and clean the fuel tank
• Run engine until the carburetor is dry, this helps prevent the carburetor diaphragms from
sticking together.
• Thoroughly clean the saw. Pay special attention to the cylinder fins and air filter.
• Store the saw in a dry location and out of the reach of children and other unauthorized
persons.

Chain tension is incorrect
No oil in oil tank
Oil contaminated with dust
Saw chain installed incorrectly
SOLUTION
Set engine switch to START
Add fuel with 40:1 ratio
Change the fuel in the fuel tank
Clean spark plug & re-gap
Replace spark plug
Clean or replace as necessary
Use correct fuel or correct mixing ratio - 40:1
Replace spark plug
Clean or replace as necessary
Adjust chain tension
Refill oil
Clean tank and fill with new oil
Remove and install chain in correct direction
