• Operation of the appliance without the baffles can result in excessive temperatures that could damage the
appliance, chimney and the surrounding enclosure.
With the appliance and chimney installation completed, move the bricks into place as illustrated below.

Install the four (A) bricks, two (B) bricks and two (C) bricks, working from the back of the appliance

Install two (A) bricks along both sides of the appliance. Install the four (A) bricks and one (G) brick along

the back wall by pivoting the bricks up under the brick retainer.

Place narrow brick in center.
Carefully pivot fibre baffles (F) up onto the secondary air tubes as illustrated in Fig 1 on page 23. Ensure

that the top baffles are pushed all the way to the rear of the firebox, leaving a minimum of a 1 inch gap
along the front. This will allow the flue gases to escape the firebox. Ensure overlap joint (illustrated on the
next page) is tight.
Install the two (D) bricks along the front.
