9 Function

The device is used to integrate components with DIN rail mounting into the 4 mm safety plug-in system.
The components can be mounted on the DIN mounting rail and connected to the plug connectors using the
connecting cables supplied.
Using the assignment table, you can clearly document the assignment of the device connections to the
respective sockets.
Danger of electric shock!
Electric shock may cause potentially lethal injuries. Only voltage sources with safety
extra-low voltage (SELV) or protective extra-low voltage with safe isolation (PELV) may
be connected.
Component connections with dangerous touch voltages can be integrated into the safety plug-in system
using angled safety adapters. The angled adapters are available as accessories (see Accessories chapter).
Ensure adequate touch protection in this case.
The DIN mounting rail is not grounded. If this is necessary for the component used,
suitable measures must be taken to ground the DIN mounting rail.
The device is only allowed to be operated in the A4 frame or when standing on the table.
Depending on the design and weight of the components used, the device can tilt
forwards. In this case, the device is only allowed to be operated in an A4 frame.
