8 Description

8.1 Function

The Two-Hand Control Device EduTrainer
connect them. Two buttons or 2 safety door limit switches can be connected to the device. In addition, a
feedback circuit is available for monitoring external contactors. On the output side, 3 force-guided safety
relay contacts (normally open), an auxiliary relay contact (normally closed) and a semiconductor output for
signal transmission are available.
The built-in LEDs indicate the status of the safety relay unit.
Electric shock may cause potentially lethal injuries.
Only current sources with safety extra-low voltage (SELV) or protective extra-low voltage
with safe isolation (PELV) are allowed to be connected.
Only power supplies with limited power (<=100 VA) are allowed.
This device is not a safety device as defined by the EC Machinery Directive. It is only
permitted for use in didactic training aids.
Operate the device in a vertical position on a table or A4 rack.
