Packing
The packing provides only limited protection against wet, heat and any mechanical force.
The packing should be disposed of in the proper manner.

Function and description of the unit
3.1
Function
The AIRVAC 2002 is a universal vacuum mixer for use in dental technology. It can be used for
mixing any standard investment, plaster or silicone. A feature of the integrated industrial motor
is its very high torque. The high-performance vacuum pump incorporated in the unit is
completely maintenance-free.
Other features of the AIRVAC 2002:
• very easy to operate
• precise positioning of the mixing shaft ensures the mixing motor has a long life-span
• compact
• automatic regulation of the vacuum provides increased reliability
• easy to service

Installation
4.1
Positioning the unit
The unit should be installed in a place which is clean and as free from dust as possible. The wall unit
should be mounted on a straight wall. The standing unit should be placed on a solid, clean base.
The unit should be placed on a sturdy table, if it is to be used as a standing unit with the unit
base (REF 095-075-00).
Caution:
Furnaces or other equipment, which emit heat, should not be placed next to the the
AIRVAC 2002.
