PREPARATION

* Remove the lights.
* Remove the bumper (remove the trim the inside the wings) 2 screws behind the lights (saloon) -
2 screws beneath the lights (combi) - 3 screws at the bottom of the wing (saloon) - 4 screws at the
bottom of the wing (combi) - 2 screws inside the wings (inside the boot) - 4 screws beneath the bumper.
* Remove the absorber.
* Drop the exhaust down, then remove the heat shield on the combi only.
* Make a cut in the lip in the bumper as per the sketch.
ASSEMBLY
* On the outside of the longitudinals, remove the guards blocking fixing holes V.
* Position the fastening arms inside the longitudinals at the points marked V (pay attention to the
way in which you fit them, see detail) then fasten them together, without tightening, using fastening kit U.
* Fasten the tow bar body to the points marked W and X using fastening kits W and X.
FINISHING
* Tighten all of the nuts, bolts and screws to the torques indicated
below, and in the following order : V-W-X.
* Reassemble all of the components removed during the above procedure.
* Fit the tow bar head to the points marked Y using fastening kit Y.

Connecting a universal wiring kit ref.8526 is absolutely impossible on the vehicle (may
cause damage).
It is essential to use either a dedicated wiring kit or a relay box ref.8530.
