IMPORTANT!
The unit will boil up now and again in order to keep the requested temperature.
Whilst keeping warm, the electric kettle can be removed from the base station. If it is put on
the base station again, the desired temperature will be kept further on.

BOIL-DRY AND OVERHEAT PROTECTION

This unit has been fitted with a dry-out and overheat protection. If it should happen that you op-
erate the unit without water or with too little water, the unit will switch off. Wait for a short moment
until the unit has cooled down. Fill the unit with water and continue as usual.

LIFT-OFF SHUTDOWN

Should you remove the unit from the base station during the boiling process, the unit will switch
off itself. This is the so-called lift-off shutdown.

CLEANING OUTSIDE

Remove the plug from the socket and let the unit cool down. Use a soft and moist cloth to clean
the outer surfaces of the unit. Use a mild detergent in case of heavy soiling.
Never clean the unit and the base station under running water and never immerse them into
water.
