Disposal
Most of the materials from which Hilti tools and appliances are manufactured can be recycled. The
materials must be correctly separated before they can be recycled. In many countries, your old tools,
machines or appliances can be returned to Hilti for recycling. Ask Hilti Service or your Hilti representative
for further information.
▶ Do not dispose of power tools, electronic equipment or batteries as household waste!

Stopped before reaching the target
depth due to transition into softer
material such as hollow brick, soil
or natural stone.
The drill stand is inadequately fas-
tened.
The carriage has too much play.
Securing screw not correctly tight-
ened (e.g. after a change of angle).
Core bit is faulty or worn.
Chuck has worked loose.
Contact pressure is too high.

▶ Restart the drilling operation.
▶ Switch break-through detection
off.
▶ Check that the clamping spindle
nut is tightened securely.
▶ Adjust the play between rail
and carriage (comply with the
operating instructions of the
system components).
▶ Tighten the securing screw

▶ Check the condition of the core
bit; replace the core bit if it
shows visible signs of damage
or wear.
▶ Check that core bit and chuck
are correctly installed.
▶ Continue drilling in CUT ASSIST
mode.
