Prepare denture bases as described in the
"Manual for Dentists and Dental Technicians" for the
AGC
®
technique. Use AGC
(Order No. 6782) or OK (upper) (Order No. 6781).
Remove the hotplate cover, pour all of the gold electro-
lyte into the 1000 ml beaker, add 8 ml brightener addi-
tive and insert the triangular agitator rod (optional
extra!).
Place the beaker with the adapter on the hotplate.
Assemble the electroforming head and the silicone
seal. Pull the copper rods through the two front holes in
the silicone seal (Nos. 5 + 6). Push the head onto the
mount. Arrange the denture base (the lower edge of the
plaster stump must not be lower than the anode!) Push
the head onto the beaker and connect the top ends of
the copper rods to the mount (see sketch); ensure that
the denture base does not come into contact with the
anode!
Press the timer button for the required denture base:
Program 4:
Lower (operating time 390 minutes,
weight approx. 15.5 g)
Program 5:
Upper (operating time 540 minutes,
weight approx. 21.5 g)
Press the Start/Stop button to activate the process. The
status display now indicates the total operating time.
The unit automatically checks that the contacts are in
order. In the event of a poor contact being made to the
denture base, the error code 001 flashes in the status
display.
!
Note:
Rectify the fault (e.g. copper rods not inserted correctly
into the sockets) and press the Start/Stop button again.
The contact check is then carried out again.
