When the electroforming process is complete (status
display indicates 000), the unit reverts to standby
mode. The power levels continue to be indicated in the
display.
Pressing the timer button clears the previous settings.
The unit is then ready for a new deposition process.
Attention: In the event of a power failure during the
heating-up phase, the unit automatically starts the
heating-up process again. During the electroforming
process only short power failures remain without
impact. In the case of longer interruptions the electro-
forming process is halted, and the error code "008"
flashes in the status display. The program parameters
remain stored. The error message can be deleted by
pressing the Start/Stop key. The unit must then be
reset by pressing the timer button.
If an electroformed thickness of less than 150 µm is
achieved, we advise against using the parts, as they
may not be resistant to firing. These parts should be
made again. No further electroforming can be carried
out on these parts (formation of strata).
Removing the parts after electroforming:
After the electroforming procedure is completed, push
the electroforming head upwards. Allow the parts to
drip dry. Disconnect the copper wire to remove the
parts, then rinse the parts under running water.
