Push the electroforming head onto the beaker and
insert the AGC
®
copper rods into the appropriate
contacts (pay attention to the numbering).

Please note:
Finally, check once more that the parts are still arran-
ged correctly (in a clockwise fashion) and re-arrange if
necessary.
Starting up the unit:
Press the Start/Stop button to activate the process.
The status indicator now displays the total operating
time. The unit now automatically checks whether the
contact is in order. To do this, each occupied channel is
checked in turn. If the contact of a given channel
returns an error, the power level display alternates
between the value set and zero. In addition, the error
code 004 flashes in the status display.

Please note:
You can interrupt the process and rectify the fault
(e.g. AGC
®
copper rod not correctly inserted into the
socket) by pressing the Start/Stop button. Then press
the Start/Stop button once again. The contacts will then
be checked again.
If you do not interrupt the process in the event of a
faulty contact, the unit will still commence the
heating procedure after approx. 30 seconds.
The unit starts the electroforming process automatical-
ly when the required temperature is reached.
Until this temperature is reached, possible errors (e.g.
incorrect loading or program, wrong power level, too
little gold electrolyte or brightener additive forgotten)
can be corrected by pressing the Start/Stop button,
which interrupts the heating-up process. After making
the correction, press the Start/Stop button once more.
The operation LED lights up during the electroforming
process.
