Clean the thermocouple with a cloth.

Blow through the parts and clean them (*).
Remove the burr (*).
Clean the burner, check the placement of the logs,
remove any coal from the burner openings (*).
Close the main valve, find the gas leak and repair the leak
(*).
Check the ducts and clean them (*).
Check the door seals and appliance joints (*).
Clean the combustion chamber.
Replace the batteries.
Trace any bad contact point and repair it.
Replace the remote control.
