18. Never cover the USB mains adapter or the USB car charger; the risk is
overheating.
Warnings related to use
1. Switch off the fan immediately if you hear strange noises, smell something or
see smoke.
2. Make sure that the fan is standing on a sturdy, even and horizontal surface
when using it.
3. Never leave an unsupervised fan in the room.
4. Do not use the fan in temperatures above 35°C, not close to heaters and not in
dusty areas.
5. Never stick any objects whatsoever in the housing openings of the Cordless
Fan. This can cause fire or a dangerous electric shock.
6. Prevent the fan from blowing continuously on small children, patients or people
that have difficulties moving to another area.
Warnings related to maintenance
1. The fan has a built-in lithium-ion battery; you may not replace this battery
yourself.
2. Do not spray any agents (anti-insect, cleaning or any other agent) on or in the
fan; this can cause health problems (especially in children!) or it can damage
the components.
3. Always disconnect all connections if the appliance is moved, cleaned or stored.
4. Never try to open the battery. In case of misuse, the battery might emit a
liquid. If you come in contact with this unintentionally, rinse the affected area
with water. If the liquid comes in contact with eyes, then rinse with water and
seek medical assistance. Liquid from a battery can cause irritation or burns.
5. The Cordless Fan contains an internal Li-ion battery. This product must be
removed in a correct manner, taking environmental considerations into
account. Return this product to your local dealer or to the local recycling station
where the battery is recycled or disposed of in a correct manner.
6. Never burn the internal batteries of the Cordless Fan, also not if they are
damaged and can no longer be charged. Batteries explode when they are
burned.
7. The USB mains adapter (not provided) is a high-voltage part and therefore
must never be opened, even if the Cordless Fan is switched off.
