7. Do not use the charging cable to lift the USB mains adapter. When you want to
insert the USB mains adapter into the socket or conversely, to pull it out,
always grab the plug with your hand; never pull on the charging cable.
8. Never touch the USB mains adapter or the USB car charger with wet hands.
9. Uncoil the charging cable completely before you insert the USB mains adapter
or the USB car charger into the socket (or the connection for the cigarette
lighter). Never route the charging cable under a carpet, do not cover it with
mats, runners and alike, and keep the cable out of walking paths. Make sure
that it is not stepped on and that no furniture is placed on it. Do not route the
electric cable along sharp corners and after use, do not wind it too tightly.
Prevent the charging cable from coming in contact with sharp, hot or moving
objects.
10. Make sure that there is enough free space around the USB mains adapter or
the USB car charger. Do not use the USB mains adapter or the USB car charger
in a place where the air circulation around the USB mains adapter or the USB
car charger is obstructed, for example inside of a bookcase.
11. Do not charge the Cordless Fan for longer than 7 hours to prevent overheating.
12. Do not use or charge the battery if the housing of the Cordless Fan is damaged
or broken.
13. When the Cordless Fan is switched on or is charged, it is very normal for the
underside to become warm. The USB mains adapter or the USB car charger and
battery become warm during charging. This is completely normal.
14. Immediately after charging, remove the USB mains adapter or the USB car
charger out of the socket (power source).
15. Remove the USB mains adapter or the USB car charger from the socket in the
event that:
The charging cable, USB mains adapter or the USB car charger are frayed
-
or damaged in any way.
Something spilled on the Cordless Fan, charging cable, USB mains adapter
-
or the USB car charger.
The Cordless Fan, charging cable, USB mains adapter or the USB car
-
charger is exposed to rain or any other from of excessive moisture.
The Cordless Fan, charging cable, USB mains adapter or the USB car
-
charger has fallen or has been damaged in any way.
You suspect that the Cordless Fan, charging cable, USB mains adapter or
-
the USB car charger needs to be repaired.
You want to clean the Cordless Fan, charging cable, USB mains adapter or
-
the USB car charger.
Important: You can only fully interrupt the power supply by removing the
mains adapter or the USB car charger from the socket (power source).
16. Never try to push a connector into a port if it does not appear to fit. In that
case, you are probably using the wrong connector. Make sure that you use the
correct connector for the port that you want to use and that you insert it
correctly into the port.
17. Before you connect the charging cable (provided with the fan) to the USB
mains adapter or the USB car charger, check whether there are no foreign
objects in the port of the USB mains adapter or the USB car charger.
