The rate of delivery of the pellets is too low in the
lowest power setting.
The combustion pan is slagged.
The chimney draft is too high or too low.
14.3. Alarm NO IGNITION
This occurs if the flue gas temperature is not ade-
quate for safe operation at the end of the starting
phase.
Possible causes:
No more pellets in the storage container
The quality of the pellets is inadequate (e.g.
damp)
The combustion pan is slagged.
The chimney draft is too high or too low.
The ignition element is faulty.
14.4. Alarm THERMAL
Appears if the temperature in the pellet container or
the water temperature in the appliance-s heat ex-
changer is too high.A specialist must always be used
to analyse the cause and reset the safety tempera-
ture limiter.
Possible causes:
The power of the convection fan is too low. Not
enough heat is channelled to the installation
room.
Increase the speed of the convection fan in
the MAXIMALE menu (Section 10.4.11)
The circulating pump is defective or is not being
controlled.
The convection fan outlet is obstructed.
The chimney draft is too high.
The safety temperature limiter activates along with
this alarm message.
A
Proceed as follows to reset:
Wait until the unit has cooled down completely.
Disconnect the unit from the electric supply
mains by pulling the plug.
Unscrew the black covering cap (A) from the
safety temperature limiter on the back of the unit,
and press the reset button (B) back in.

14.5. Alarm UNDERPRESSURE
This occurs if the underpressure in the flue gas col-
lector is too low for safe removal of the flue gasses.
Possible causes:
The chimney draft is too low.
Increase the speed of the exhaust fan in the
MAXIMALE menu (Section 10.4.11)
A downdraft is coming down the chimney.
Cross-sectional constrictions in the flue gas path,
e.g. due to heavy soot build-up
Pressure cell is faulty
Connecting hose from the pressure cell to the
waste gas collector is faulty, kinked or not con-
nected
The combustion air supply is obstructed
14.6. Alarm PELLET TEMP.
This occurs if the temperature of the pellet sensor
reaches a temperature that is too high.
The cause analysis must always be conducted by a
specialist.
Possible causes:
The rate of delivery of the pellets is too high in
the highest power setting.
Reduce the pellet quantity in the MAXIMALE
menu "(section 10.4.11)
The convection fan outlet is obstructed.
The chimney draft is too high.
14.7. Alarm SMOKE FAN
This occurs in the event of an operational fault of the
smoke blower.
14.8. Alarm PELLET PROBE or
Alarm SMOKE PROBE
This occurs if one of the sensors is faulty.
14.9. Alarm BLACK OUT
This occurs if the power supply is interrupted for
more than 20 seconds.

15. Cleaning

In order for the unit to function perfectly, it is abso-
lutely necessary to continually clean the combustion
chamber and the ash box.
This cleaning must always be carried out when
the unit is cold.
Only use a suitable ash vacuum cleaner.
Check the connector at regular intervals for a
possible build-up of soot and ash.
