8.1 Permissible fuels
The pellet-buring chimney stove may only be
fueled with pellets that correspond to the certifi-
cation program DINplus or Austrian Norm M
7135.
Max. thickness = 7 mm
Max. length = 30mm
Max. moisture content 10%
The pellets must be stored in a dry and dust-free
environment.
When filling the pellets, please take care that the
pellet container of the unit is not filled with poten-
tially accumulated sawdust.
8.2 Please note before the first
heating
Ensure that all accessories are removed from the
ash collection tray and the combustion chamber.
The odour caused by the vapourising of the pro-
tective coating will disappear after the chimney
stove has been burning for several hours (venti-
late the room well).
The chimney stove is coated with a high-quality
temperature resistant lacquer, which achieves its
final hardness after the first firing.
- Therefore, do not place anything on the chimney
stove and do not come into contact with the sur-
faces, because this could cause damage to the
finish.
The chimney stove should only be operated with
the combustion chamber door closed.
Do not remove hot ashes. Ashes may only be
stored in fire-resistant, unflammable containers.
Important: The surfaces will be hot!
The precautionary measures regarding combus-
tion air supply may not be changed.
When the stove is new (or when the container is
completely empty) it might not light because the
pellet loading screw needs a few minutes to fill
up and feed the pellets.
