6.5 Electrically connecting the height-adjustable
workstation
• Use the height-adjustable workstation in accordance with the information
in these assembly instructions for workstations in dry industrial
environments.
• Only use the country-specifi c connection cables provided.
• The connection of cable 3 842 517 201 (open cable ends) may only be
carried out by trained specialists who can recognize and comply with the
country-specifi c mains supplies and regulations.
• Any use e.g. in damp locations or with a ballast fuse that is too large
is considered as improper. In no event can the manufacturer accept
warranty or liability claims for damages arising from improper use or
from intervention in the appliance other than that described in these
instructions.

) Ballast fuse:
• Make sure that all plugs are properly connected.
• Connect the power supply with the power cable.

Grounding the height-adjustable workstation

Only applicable if you ordered the ESD-conductive height-adjustable
workstation variant:
• Ground the height-adjustable workstation using the grounding
components set 3 842 522 087 (included in scope of delivery).
