6.3 automatic thread trimming
The petrol brush cutter is supplied with a filled
thread cassette.
- Use the plastic line cassette for a clean cut also
at uneven edges, fencing posts, and trees.
- Carefully advance the trimming line to an
obstacle, and use the tip of the line to cut around
the obstacle. When the trimming line comes into
contact with stones, trees, and walls, the line
wears out or breaks off ahead of time.
- Swing the petrol cutting blade like a normal
scythe horizontally from right to left and back
again. You define the cutting height depending
on how high you are holding the tool.
- Never replace the nylon line with a metal wire.
RISK OF INJURIES
- When the trimming line is no longer cut clean
during feeding, use a file to re-sharpen the
cutting edge (B39). File in one direction and in
the specified angle.

7.1 Precautions for Saw procedure
Thus, the injury and accident risk is reduced
as far as possible. it is important procedures
adequately above the saw and to be aware
of safety precautions to prevent accidents.
Therefore please read the following instructions
carefully and follow you throughout your entire
work process necessarily the safety instructions
in Chapter 2:
Preparations
To ensure that you can work safely, check the
following points before every use:
Condition of the chainsaw
Before you start your work, inspect the chainsaw
for damage to the housing, the chain and
the cutter bar. Never use a chainsaw which is
obviously damaged.
Oil container
Level of oil in the oil container: Both before and
during your work make sure that there is always
sufficient oil in the system. To avoid damaging
the chainsaw, never run the saw if there is no oil
in the system or if the oil drops below the „min"
mark.
On average, a single filling will last around 10
minutes depending on the number of pauses in
cutting and the loads involved.
Chain
Tension of the chain, condition of the cutting
elements: The sharper the chain, the easier and
more controllable it is to operate the chainsaw.
The same also applies to the chain tension. For
greater safety you must check the chain tension
before your work and at least every 10 minutes
during your work. New chains in particular tend
to expand more
Safety clothing
Always wear appropriate tight-fitting safety
clothing such as special trousers which protect
