Installation of the basic device

4 Installation of the basic device
How to proceed:
1. Insert the basic device into the mounting backplane without tilting until you feel
resistance.
2. Press the basic device firmly into the mounting backplane until it audibly snaps into
place. During this process the locking clip moves downwards and back into the
locking position.
3. The end position is reached when the locking clip can be pushed back until it
touches the basic device. Now the basic device is locked.

Proceed as follows to remove the basic device:
1. Disconnect already wired connectors at the basic device.
2. Push the locking clip downwards to release the basic device and disengage it from
the contacts.
3. Pull the basic device completely out of the mounting backplane and remove it. The
locking clip moves back into the locking position.
