10.1.4 Generation of analog levels for analog value processing

The device is equipped with two analog value generators which make it possible to generate voltage values
within a range of 0 to roughly 10 V via a potentiometer. These can be connected to the control system's
corresponding inputs via a jumper.

10.2 Activating the outputs

The device's outputs or output groups can be wired differently.

10.2.1 Switchable digital/relay output group

The output groups can be switched back and forth between relay and digital output function via a toggle
switch.

Warning!
Only 24 V DC control signals with max. 500 mA can be connected.
The output sockets are equipped with diodes to
prevent reverse voltage.
In the case of the Siemens LOGO!
system, inputs I1, I2 and I7, I8 can be configured as
analog inputs with the help of the software.
When the toggle switch is in the upper switch
position, the 24 V LED lights up. In this case, 24 V DC
is applied to the top row of output connections
(connected with the red line). This is also indicated by
an LED in this section of the panel. Each output is
decoupled with diodes.
In the switch position shown here, the groups are
switched to relay operation and can thus be externally
connected.
