Requirements for product use

Provide this description to the design engineer, fitter and the personnel re-
sponsible for commissioning the machine or plant on which this product is
used.

Store this description throughout the product life cycle.

Make sure that the specifications in the documentation are always complied
with. Refer also to the documentation for the additional components and mod-
ules (e.g. bus node, pneumatics etc.).

Take into consideration the regulations applicable at the place of use:
– Regulations and standards,
– Rules from testing organizations and insurers,
– National regulations.

Assemble the equipment correctly. To ensure compliance with IP protection
class: Tightly seal the connection cap, assemble the cable entry correctly, seal
unused connections with blanking plugs.

Technical requirements

General conditions for the correct and safe use of the product, which must be ob-
served at all times:

Comply with the specified limits (e.g. operating medium pressures, forces,
torques, temperatures, voltages, currents).
The product can only be operated in accordance with the relevant safety
guidelines if the maximum load limits are observed.
