discharge (ESD) when handling the devices!
NOTICE!
The SensoTrans® P 32300 resistance transmitters shall be installed only by
qualifi ed and specially trained personnel authorized by the operating com-
pany. Do not connect the device to power supply before it is professionally
installed. Do not change the measuring range during operation.
Observe the national codes and regulations for installation and selection of
cables and lines.
• Connecting cables must have a temperature rating of ≥ 80 °C.
• Mains supply must be protected by a fuse ≤ 20 A.
• Warning against misuse: Do not operate the device outside the conditions
specifi ed by the manufacturer, as this might result in hazards to operators
or malfunction of the equipment. The system installer is responsible for
the safety of the system in which the device is integrated.
Prior to commissioning and after each change of the confi guration, you
must check the intended function of the transmitter (see Safety Manual,
section 5.1 "Functional Checks").
Safety Notes for Supply Voltages from 55 V AC / 140 V DC
• The device must be installed in a tool-secured enclosure.
• Be sure to install a two-pole circuit breaker between device
and mains supply. It must be clearly identifi able and easily
accessible by the operator.
