Communication via IrDA Interface

1. Adjust the DIP and rotary switches according to the following
table.

2. Install the "Paraly SW 111" infrared communication software for
configuring all transmitter parameters (see table on page 39).
The software comes with detailed instructions which are also
available for download at "www.knick.de".
3. Use the front pushbutton to activate the IrDA interface,
see figure on page 36.
4. Place the IR port of your PC in a stable position within sight
of the device front (distance ≤ 10 cm) and follow the software
instructions.
5. If communication is not established within 1 min, IrDA will
automatically be deactivated.
