The AC/DC transmitters of the VariTrans® P 4x000 D2 TRMS-000x-KTA
Series must be installed only by qualified and specially trained
personnel authorized by the operating company. Be sure to observe the
applicable regulations for installation, e.g. EC directives, national codes
and standards! Do not connect the device to power supply before it
is professionally installed. Do not change the measuring range during
operation, commissioning, or disposal!
For applications with high working voltages, ensure there is sufficient
spacing or isolation from neighboring devices and protection against
electric shocks.
Be sure to observe the national codes and regulations for installation and
selection of cables and lines.
Be sure to install a two-pole circuit breaker between device and mains
supply.
Be sure to take measures against electrostatic discharge (ESD)
when installing or adjusting the AC/DC transmitter.
