Standby mode; current time is displayed.
BLUE
TIME DELAY is in progress, the TIME DELAY indicator and
Timer value are displayed.
The program is in progress, the time counts down, the selected
GREEN
program and COOK TIME indicators are displayed.
ORANGE KEEP WARM or REHEAT is in progress, The time is progressing.
I. PRIOR TO FIRST USE
Carefully unpack the device, remove all packaging materials and stickers
except the one with the unit's serial number.
The absence of the serial number will deprive you of your warranty ben-
efits.
Wipe all interior and exterior surfaces of the unit with a soft, damp cloth.
Wash the bowl with warm soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. Odor on
first use of the appliance is normal. In such case, clean the device (p. 15).
CAUTION! Do not use the appliance in case of any malfunctions.
After transporting or storing at low temperatures allow the appliance
to stay at room temperature for at least 2 hours before using.
II. OPERATING THE MULTICOOKER
Before Use
Place the device on a flat, stable, and hard surface away from any objects
or cabinets that could be damaged by steam, humidity, or high tempera-
tures.
Before operating, make sure that the outer and inner parts of the multi-
cooker have no dents, cracks or any other visible damages. There should
not be any obstructions between the heating element and the bowl.
To Restore to Factory Settings
The REDMOND RMC-250A Multicooker is equipped with a non-volatile

memory unit. In case of a power shortage the device resumes its opera-
tion without any memory loss. To reset to default settings press and hold
down the MENU button. The device produces an audible signal and re-
stores to factory settings.
Setting the Clock
Plug in the appliance. Press and hold down the "+" or "–" button. The "+", "–",
and ОК button indicators, and the Current Time indicator start blinking. Press
"+" to increase and "–" to reduce the time. When the maximum value is
reached, the device goes back to the minimum value. Press and hold the
corresponding button down to scroll through the digits. Set the hours, press
OK, and set the minutes. After the current time is set press the CANCEL/
REHEAT button.
Setting the Cook Time
Default time can be adjusted for each program (except EXPRESS). The
time adjustment range and interval depends on the program selected.
To adjust the cook time:
1. Press the MENU button. The START/KEEP WARM, ОК, and "+", "–" button in-
dicators start blinking. Press "+" or "–" to select a program. Default time for
each program is displayed.
2. Press the OK button and adjust the cook time. The START/KEEP WARM,
"+", and "–" button indicators, the COOK TIME indicator are blinking
(the TEMP button indicator blinks in MULTICOOK). If the TIME DELAY
function is applicable for the selected program then the TIME DELAY
button indicator blinks.
3. Press "+" to increase and "–" to reduce the time. Set the hours, press
ОК, and set the minutes. Press and hold down the corresponding
button to scroll through the digits. When the maximum value is
reached, the device goes back to the minimum value.
4. To cancel the adjustments press CANCEL/REHEAT and start over.
To switch between Fahrenheit / Celsius
Your RMC-250A Multicooker can switch from Fahrenheit to Celsius and
from Celsius to Fahrenheit:
