Make sure before turning-on, that the
electrode holder, electrode do not touch
on the welding table, the working piece or
any other object which is conductive. Oth-
erwise an arc will be ignited accidentally.
An accidentally ignited arc can damage
the electrode holder, the welding table, the
working piece or the machine.

Electrode welding process

Switch on machine
Turn on the machine at mains switch 2.
Press key button 26 for at least 2 seconds.
9 The electrode symbol (LED 20) lights up.
Press key button 26 again to turn the pulsing function
on or off.
Set the required welding current with turning knob
27.
Ignition
Touch the workpiece with the tip of the electrode and
lift the electrode a bit.
9 The arc ignites between the workpiece and elec-
trode.
Pulsing
Press key button 26 until the symbol for pulsing lights
up. (LED 19).
Access the secondary parameter (refer to the
subchapter: accessing secondary parameter).
Select secondary parameter secondary current I2
(Code „I 2").
Set the required secondary power value with turning
knob 27. The adjusted value is based in % from weld-
ing current I1.
Select the secondary parameter pulse frequency
(Code „FPU").
Set the required pulse frequency with turning knob
27.
Select secondary parameter pulse pause ratio (Code
„bPU").
Set the required pulse pause ratio with turning knob
27. The adjusted value is based in % from welding
current I1. Example: 60% equates to the parts 60%
welding current I1 and 40% secondary current I2.
 Exit secondary parameter.

4-stroke (LED 24) light up.
Press repeatedly key 26 to switch function Slope as
well as pulsing either on or off.
Set the required welding current with turning knob
27.
Ignition
Hold the electrode of the Tig torch close above the
workpiece and ignite the arc by pressing key button
70.
9 Arc burns between work workpiece and electrode.
‰ By set secondary parameter HF-ignition OFF, the
workpiece must shortly be touched with the electrode
of the Tig torch.
Pulsing
Press key button 26 until the symbol Pulsing (LED
19) lights up or lights up in combination with symbol
Slope (LED 21).
Access the secondary parameter (refer to the
subchapter: accessing secondary parameter).
Select secondary parameter secondary current I2
(Code „I 2").
Set the required secondary power value with turning
knob 27. The adjusted value is based in % from weld-
ing current I1.
Select the secondary parameter pulse frequency
(Code „FPU").
