13.1
Fasten transportation belt
 Thread the transportation belt into the welding ma-
chine and plastic slides. See sequence of the number
in the
picture.
13.2
Connecting the ground cable
When you select the workplace, pay attention to the
proper connection of ground cable and ground clamp.
The ground clamp shall be attached to the workpiece or
the welding table in a way that the clamp is fixed onto a
blank, conductive area. It shall be located right next to
the weld point to avoid an uncontrolled backflow of the
welding current through machine components, ball bear-
ings, electric boards and circuits.

Do not place the ground clamp on the welding machine
or gas cylinder, otherwise welding current is conducted
via the protective conductors and will destroy them.

Never put the ground clamp loose onto the workpiece.
Connect the clamp properly to the welding table or the
workpiece.
13.3
Connect to mains
Before you operate the device, make sure that a suitable
mains power supply is available. Fuse protection shall
correspond to the technical data.
Alternatively you may connect the device to a power
generator. Please note:
‰ If you want to make use of the entire performance of
the welding device, you should use a power genera-
tor with at least 8500 VA power output.
‰ In case the generator gets overloaded, an uncon-
trolled pulsation of the arc may occur or the arc col-
lapses.
‰ Do not use power generators with less than 2000 W
single-phase.
Mains cable extensions
‰ Use exclusively flawless cables which meet the fuse
protection.
‰ Coiled cables may heat-up! Always unwind the ex-
tension cables completely.
Using a very long cable extension, the mains voltage at
the device may drop and the welding performance de-
creases. Shorten the extension or/and use an extension
with larger conductor cross section.
