• If the mounting foot is to be used only as a stand, place the monitor/DVR on a stable, level and sufficiently large
surface. Use a suitable underlay to protect valuable furniture surfaces from dents or discolouration.
• If there is a protective film on the screen, peel it off.
• Insert the plug-in connectors of the camera cables into the two camera inputs (VIDEO1 IN and VIDEO2 IN) of the
monitor/DVR.
• Connect the connection distributor for the power adapter to the low-voltage connector of the power adapter.
• Connect one (black connector) of the three connectors on the connection distributor to the monitor/DVR.
• Connect the two other connectors (red) on the connection distributor to the camera connection cables.
• Plug the power adapter into a standard mains socket connected to the public grid. The power indicator (8) on the
monitor/DVR should now go on.
• Insert a memory card (max. 128 GB) into the memory card slot (9) on the right-hand side of the monitor/DVR so
that it snaps into place.
Make sure that the memory card is not write-protected.
The memory card should be empty (or it must have enough space). Only FAT/FAT32 file formats are al-
lowed (no NTFS).
• The system is now ready for use.
