ELECTRICAL FUSES

Under the control panel covered by a transparent plastic
lid, there are the following fuses (8, Fig. B) to protect the
indicated circuits:
F1: Relay fuse (10 A)
F2: Side brush actuator fuse (10 A)
F3: Horn fuse (10 A)
F4: Filter-shaker fuse (30 A)
F5: Starting fuse (10 A)
F6: Pivoting light fuse (10 A)
F7: Working light fuse (10 A)
F8: Left side brush fuse (10 A)
In the electrical box (5, Fig. C) there are two fuses:
FA: Suction fuse (50 A)
FP: Primary fuse (160 A)

ACCESSORIES/OPTIONS

In addiction to the standard components, the machine can
be equipped with the following accessories/options,
according to the machine specific use:
Main and side brushes with harder and softer bristles;
Front pneumatic foam wheels.
For further information concerning the optional
accessories apply to an authorized retailer.

USE AND MAINTENANCE MANUAL

USE

WARNING!
On some points of the machine there are
some adhesive plates indicating:
- DANGER
- WARNING
- CAUTION
- CONSULTATION
While reading this Manual, the Operator must pay
particular attention to the meaning of these symbols.
Do not cover these plates for any reason, in case of
damage replace them immediately.
BATTERY CHECK/SETTING ON A NEW
MACHINE
The machine needs a 36 V battery.
The machine can be supplied:
a)
Battery already installed and ready to be used.
1.
Push the push-button (31, Fig. C). Open the cowling
(4) and secure it safely using the rod (28).
2.
Check that the battery is connected to the machine
through the appropriate connector (3, Fig. U).
3.
Close the cowling (4, Fig. C) after disconnecting and
replacing the rod (28) in its housing.
4.
Insert the ignition key (5, Fig. B), turn it to ST position
(without activating the forward/reverse gear pedal 11,
Fig. B) and then release it.
If the three green warning lights (16a, 16b, 16c, Fig.
B) are on, or, at least, the warning light (16c) is on, the
battery is ready to be used.
Otherwise the battery needs to be charged (see the
procedure in the Maintenance chapter).
b)
Without battery
1.
Require the 36 V and 360/400 Ah battery to the
nearest Nilfisk-Advance centre.
2.
Proceed with the battery installation (see the
procedure in the Maintenance chapter).
3.
Proceed with the battery recharge (see the procedure
in the Maintenance chapter).

BEFORE START-UP

1.
Check that there are no open doors/cowlings and that
the machine is in normal operating conditions.
