Cleaning and care

DANGER! RISK OF ELECTRICAL SHOCK
Before cleaning the appliance, disconnect the power plug from the mains
power socket! There is a risk of electric shock!
Never immerse the device in water or any other liquid!
WARNING! RISK OF INJURY!
Always allow the appliance to cool down before cleaning it. Otherwise
there is a risk of burns!
It is best to clean the device as soon as it has cooled down. This makes food
residues easier to remove.
ATTENTION! PROPERTY DAMAGE!
Do not use abrasive or aggressive cleaning materials. These can damage
the surface of the appliance!
Do not clean the stone griddle 5 until it has cooled down. Otherwise the
stone griddle 5 could crack and break.
Wipe the device housing and the heating elements with a moist cloth. If
necessary, put a little mild detergent on the cloth and wipe this off afterwards
with clear water. Dry everything properly.
Clean the griddle 1, the stone griddle 5, the spatula 7 and the pans 6 in
warm soapy water. Dry all parts properly after cleaning.
NOTE
You can also use a soft, non-abrasive sponge to clean the stone griddle 5.
To remove undesirable odours such as fish smells, rub the stone griddle 5
down with a little lemon juice.
The stone griddle 5 takes longer to dry.

Storage

Allow the cleaned appliance to cool down before putting it away. You can
store the empty pans 6 in the appliance.
Wrap the power cable around the cable retainer on the underside of the
appliance.
Store the cleaned device in a clean, dust-free and dry place.

The spatulas 7 can be cleaned in the dishwasher. Ensure that they
do not get caught in the dishwasher. Use the upper basket in the
dishwasher if possible.
