Cooling (water/air)

Caution: During the welding process, the pressing components and mould hea-
ting. Take heat protection measures!
Caution: The water hoses must not be removed during the operation. Take heat
protection measures!
Caution: By starting the cooling process, for a short time hot steam will fl ow in
the water tank. Take heat protection measures!
After the exposure time is fi nished, the cooling process will start automatically. The wa-
ter pump stops as soon as the desired end-temperature is achieved (minimum 40°C /
104°F). The display of the controller shows "operation fi nished" or "process completed".
Now you can open the hotpress and remove with safety gloves the mould and profi le.
Caution: Components may still be very hot.
Information: End-temperature can be preset in the menue settings at the controller. Please
refer to the separate controller manual.

Discontinuation of cooling process respectively without active cooling.

Caution: During the welding process, the pressing components and mould hea-
ting. Take heat protection measures!
Caution: Stopping the cooling process increases the risk of burns, as press com-
ponents and shape shoes are very hot.
5.9

Termination of the welding process

Leave the mould and profi le within the
closed machine until the temperature is
cooled down. The current temperature of
the heating plates is shown in the display of
PPuls controller.
The display of the controller shows "opera-
tion fi nished" or "process completed".
Operate the breaker on the controller (disconnect the
power plug).
