Also clean the milk frother noz-
zle with a short blast of steam
so that the milk remnants are
EN
blown out of the milk frother
nozzle.
Milk frothing with the
extra nozzle
Remove the Pannarello and
unscrew the nozzle.
Screw on the extra nozzle.
Fill the enclosed container to
1/3 with cold milk.
note
To achieve optimal results,
use only max. 4°C cold milk.
Before using the milk frother
nozzle, the condensate that
has collected there should be
drained off. To do that, aim it
at the drain grate and briefly
turn on the steam.
CaUTION
Never aim the milk frother
nozzle towards yourself or any
other person. DANGER OF
BURNS!
To move the milk frother noz-
zle, always use the handle;
never touch the milk frother
nozzle on the pipe after using.
It becomes very hot!
Wait until only steam and no
water escapes and close the
control again.
Put the milk frother nozzle into

the milk container slightly off-
set.
That is important so that the
milk is put into a whirling mo-
tion.
Use the outlet sleeve as a guide
for the milk frother nozzle.
Open the control knob for the
milk frother nozzle.
Now start the "pulling" and
"rolling" phases
First the "pull phase": to
slightly stir the air, place the
milk frother nozzle just under
the milk surface.
You have reached the cor-
rect position when you hear a
"slurping" sound.
That might stop for a moment
as the surface of the milk is
moving.
Now the "roll phase".
As soon as the volume of the
milk increases, push the milk
frother nozzle back into the
milk.
As soon as the can becomes
hot, close the control knob.
After frothing, briefly knock
the milk can on the table top
to remove the last of the large
air bubbles.
Swirling also helps uniformly
distribute the froth.
Clean the milk frother nozzle
immediately after finishing the
