Correct use

Operational safety is only guaranteed if the product is used as intended.
The Oventrop Oilstop diaphragm anti-siphon valve is used in the suction pipe of
oil firing systems according to DIN 4755 where the max. level in the tank is
above the lowest point in the suction pipe.
The valve prevents the heating oil from leaking out of the tank in the event of a
leak in the downstream suction pipe.
Installation is possible both in one pipe systems (with and without return flow
feed) and in the suction pipe of two pipe systems.
In two pipe systems, the return pipe must end with a free outlet in the
tank.
Any use beyond and/or different from this is considered improper use.
Claims of any kind against the manufacturer and/or his authorised
representatives for damage resulting from improper use cannot be recognised.
Proper use also includes correct compliance with these instructions.
