Example:
When counting objects on pallets, each pulse recorded corresponds to the
passage of a pallet of 15 objects. To obtain a direct reading of the number of
objects counted, it is first necessary to set K to 15, then select the count function by
pressing
COUNT
This can be done on the "Hz" function. Therefore the display will increase by 15
for each pulse that is recorded.
K is programmed by pressing the
When a coefficient other than the initial value is programmed, the symbol K
appears on the measurement function on the display. The digital and analogue
displays then take into account the multiplier coefficient K.
This can only be cancelled by reprogramming the original K coefficient. (see table
below).
The programming of K is limited to values between 99.999 and 0.010. All the
values outside these limits are prohibited and do not appear in programming.
The K coefficient is common to the speed measurement units and the corresponding
counting units :
Measurement
K on tr/min
K on m/min
K on RPM
K on Ft/min
K on Hz
The programming of a K coefficient does not change the maximum limits of the
measurement and the display which always remains fixed between 0.1 Hz and
10,000 Hz for the input frequency and between 0 and 99,999 counts for the display.
The table below indicates the measurement frequency limits as a function of the
K coefficient programmed (we suppose you are using the external input socket).
Outside these limits the display will indicate "OL" for higher excess value and
"- - -" for lower excess value.
