2 Safety instructions

2.7 Information on proper use

This appliance must only be used for domestic use. It is not suitable for indus-
trial or commercial use.
Only use the stick vac for cleaning lightly soiled, dry hard floors or carpets.
Only use the hand vac for picking up small amounts of dry dust and dirt.
Any other use is considered improper use and is prohibited.
The following in particular is prohibited:

Vacuuming:
- People, animals, plants or items of clothing on the body. There is a high
risk of injury if you do so.
- Hot ashes, burning cigarettes or matches. This could cause a fire.
- Water and other liquids. Moisture inside the appliance can cause a short
circuit.
- Toner (for laser printers, photocopiers etc.). There is risk of fire or explo-
sion.

Use of the appliance in the vicinity of explosive or highly flammable sub-
stances. There is a risk of fire or explosion.

Use of the appliance outdoors. There is danger of rain or dirt destroying the
appliance.

Use of non-original accessories. This can impair appliance safety.

Carrying out repairs yourself. There is a risk of injury if you do so.
