9. When using the floor nozzle, adjust the carpet/hard floor
a
switch (Fig. 12/1) depending on the type of flooring:
- Hard floor (Fig. 12/a)
Laminate flooring, tiles, PVC flooring, etc.
- Carpet (Fig. 12/b)

Long and short fibre carpets, runners, etc.

ATTENTION:
Before starting to clean, check that all surfaces, textiles
and objects, etc. are suitable for steam cleaning.
If you are not sure try it out on an inconspicuous part of
the surface, textile or object, etc.
Always observe the cleaning instructions for the individ-
ual materials. They could become damaged.
Glass surfaces could shatter if subjected to a heat shock.
Warm them up first by spraying steam from a distance of
approx. 25 cm. We assume no liability for damage result-
ing from the improper use of hot steam.
10. Select the output level:

- Steam level 1 (Fig. 13/1) e. g. for:
sensitve coverings/flooring (wood), and for freshening

up: textiles, curtains, carpets, and such like.
- Steam level 2 (Fig. 13/2) e. g. for:
Plastics, windows, glass, and such like.
- Steam level 3 (Fig. 13/3) e. g. for:
Kitchen work surfaces, cutting boards, and such like.

- Steam level 4 (Fig. 13/4) e. g. for:
PVC flooring and other plastic coated surfaces, tiles,
stone floors, plastic furniture, calcifications in sani-
tary-related areas, stubborn stains, and such like.
NOTE:
Vary the output level depending on the degree of dirt. We
recommend selecting between levels 3 and 4 for clean-
ing.
The indicator lights (Fig. 13/5) show the currently se-
lected level.
11. Direct the nozzle at the surface to be cleaned and press
the steam switch to clean (Fig. 1/2).
12. Constantly move the nozzle while cleaning. Never hold
it over one point for too long.
