6.5.2 QUICK mode
In QUICK mode, the user can set a reduced selection of
welding program parameters.
The user can set the time, current and welding force.
In QUICK mode, the user can save the parameters in
four programs.
6.5.2.1 Setting and saving programs
(See attached images A24 and A25)
To set the welding parameters, tap on the respective
items and insert the desired values via a numeric
keypad.
The entered parameters can be saved or updated as
follows:
• Press on the
button.
• Press one of the buttons (1) for 5 seconds to save
the parameters for that program.
6.5.2.2 Selecting the program
(See attached images A24 and A25)
To use a program, proceed as follows:
• Press on the
button.
• Press one of the buttons (1) view the parameters
saved in the program.
• The following message
appears to confirm that the parameters have been
saved.
6.5.3 FULL working mode
(See image A26)
In FULL working mode, the user can adjust all the
welding program parameters.
The welding is performed with the programmed
values, without the assistance of automatic correction
systems.
The graph of the current program is displayed in area
(1).
The values for the each of the parameters (time and
current) can be displayed by pressing on the relevant
block of the program (2).
Pressing the (3) icon displays the programmed
electrode force.
Area (4) displays the values measured in the last weld
done or those for the selected welding area (5).
The welding program parameters can be adjusted by
pressing on the icon (6).

6.5.3.1 Editing the welding program
(See image A27)
A graph on the programming page shows the program,
with each welding stage represented by a block.
Each stage can be activated or deactivated by pressing
on the respective block.
The relevant time parameters are displayed above
each block.
The relevant current parameters, where present, are
shown below each block.
Pressing on the displayed values allows them to be
edited.
The window shows the minimum and maximum values
that can be set.
No changes can be made if the program has been
locked.
This situation is indicated by a closed padlock icon (1).
The graph for the current program is displayed in zone
(2).
Description of the stages and parameters
• PRE-WELD (3): This is a stage in which a
current is supplied. It is carried out before the
welding stage in order to pre-heat the plates.
The duration (PRE-WELD TIME) and current intensity
(PRE-WELD CURRENT) can both be adjusted.
• COLD
1
(4):
between the PRE-WELD and WELD
If the PRE-WELD stage is deactivated, it cannot be
programmed.
• SLOPE-UP (5): In the SLOPE-UP stage, the welding
current is gradually increased up to the value set
in the WELD stage. The duration of this increase is
set by the user. The initial current value is always
equal to the minimum current, whereas the final
value is equal to the current value programmed in
the WELD stage. The SLOPE-UP time is added to the
welding time.
• WELD (6): During the WELD stage, the welding
current is supplied. The duration (WELD TIME) and
current intensity (WELD CURRENT) can be adjusted.
The weld current can be supplied in pulses. Pressing
on the WELD stage block activates this function
and, at the same time, adjusts the number of pulses,
which is shown inside the block (7). When the pulse
function is activated, the WELD TIME parameter
indicates the duration of each individual pulse.
A new parameter, COLD 2 (8), is also displayed.
This allows you to program the time between one
welding pulse and the next.
