8 . OPERATING DEFAULTS
Before any repair, unplug the pump from electrical network.
After any repair check that the hydraulic trapdoor is well in position.
INCIDENT
8.1 THE PUMP TURNS BUT a) The internal parts are clogged by

CAUSE
a) Disassemble the pump and clean it.
b) Clean the suction pipe.
c) Check the tightness.
d) DRY RUN : restart the pump after refill it.
e) Too much loose of charge at the suction or suction head too high
(check the NPSH of installation).
f) Check the voltage at the plug.
g) Immerge the strainer (mini 70 cm). Weigth the pipe if necessary.
a) Re-locate the box .
b) Dismantle the pump and clean it.
c) Check the pump turns freely without abnormal sticking
(motor stopped).
a) Check the voltage at the plug.

Temperature above
c) The pump is built for an maximum ambient Temperature of + 40°C.
d) Re-stuck the acoustic insulation in well position.

a) Check the electrical supply.

d) Check the failure table indicator.
a) Disassemble the pump and repair.
b) Replace it.
c) Change the impellers.
d) Check the opening or change.
e) Check the closing at low flow rate.
a) Check the good section of the leads of the electric cable.
b) Check the cable and replace if necessary.
c) Replace it.
a) Read carefully the installation manual.
b) The suction pipe must be with the same diameter than the pump.
c) Disassemble and clean.
d) Check the suction pipe. Check also the suction stage inside the pump.
a) The static pressure is above 1.5 bars. Adjust the potentiometer under the
start/stop button (See Chapter 7).
b) Check that the pump start correctly in continuous mode. Replace the
complete control panel.
a) Check the installation (toilets, tap...). Or install a tank.
b) Cancel the non return valve. It is not compatible with the non return valve
of the pump.
c) Replace the non return valve stage inside the pump and the O ring. If the
non return valve is worn by the sand you may use a strainer foot valve with
adapted filter.
d) Replace it.
