PAR 05 WORKING AND USE
See par. 06 for working ("Instructions and warnings").
The use of the equipment is reserved to authorised or trained personnel. The improper use or negligence on
the part of the user can cause serious damages to persons and goods. TECNO-GAZ is not to be held
responsible for them.
PAR 06 INSTRUCTIONS FOR USER
WARNINGS
Take out of the package paying attention not to damage the components
Make sure that the contents do not bear transport damages and that they correspond to what you have requested.
The work position of the bottles with flowmeter and washer must be vertical
Read carefully the reducer R400 handbook
Place the equipment away from sources of heat and electric machines.
The oxygen supply inside the resuscitation kit and the kit for oxygen treatment takes place with a constant flow
(which is not adjustable) at 10 Nl/min.
The bottle does not contain any oxygen; for filling apply to the medical gas refilling point (always bring the bottle
certificate with you)
THE APPLIANCE HAS NOT TO BE USED IN POTENTIAL EXPLOSIVE ATMOSHERE.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
RESUSCITATION UNIT

Connect the mask (A) to the bag's outlet valve (B) (See fig. 1).

Insert the end (C) of the tube (D) in the inlet (E) which is inside the bag's underneath knob (F) (See Fig. 1).

Fill the bottle (Z) with medical oxygen
10 Screw the reducer (B) on the bottle (Z) by hand and pay attention that you place the flowmeter in vertical position
(read carefully the reducer R400 handbook before performing this operation)
11 Screw the washer (G) under the flowmeter (L)
12 Join the other end of the tube (D) to the washer's outlet (G). (See Fig. 2).
13 Fill the washer (G) with demineralised water in the desired quantity (See Fig. 2/a).
14 Let the oxygen flow by turning very slowly the tap (H) in the direction indicated on the tap itself "OPEN", measure
out the flow quantity by means of the flowmeter dial (I) checking the reading on the small column (L); this operation
will allow a richer oxygen ventilation (Fig. 2).
