Connection rules
- The appliance must be powered with a 230 V single phase 50Hz supply.
- The appliance's power supply must be connected directly to the network
after the circuit breaker, with no intermediary switch.
- The appliance is connected to the mains by its power cable which passes
through a connection box. The connection box must be installed at least
25 cm from the ground in damp rooms such as bathrooms and kitchens.
- Earthing is prohibited. Do not connect the pilot wire (black wire) to
the earth.
- In compliance with the installation rules, the power supply must connect
straight to the network after the omnipolar circuit breaker.
- If the power cable is damaged, to avoid risks it should only be replaced
by the manufacturer, its after-sales service, or persons with equivalent
skills.
- If you use the pilot wire and if it is protected by a 30mA residual current
circuit breaker (in a bathroom, for example), the pilot wire's power
supply must be protected on this residual current circuit breaker.
- If you want to install a load-shedder, choose one with a pilot wire
output and not a power cutting load-shedder which will damage the
thermostat.
